Zaheer Khan was born on 7 October 1978 in Shrirampur, Maharashtra, India. His father’s name is Bakhtiyar Khan, and his mother’s name is Zakia Khan. He has two brothers, Zeeshan and Anees. Zaheer studied at New Marathi Primary School and K. J. Somaiyya Secondary School in Shrirampur.

From a young age, Zaheer loved cricket. He played cricket in his hometown. Later, he moved to Mumbai to follow his dream. In Mumbai, he joined the National Cricket Club.
